Got the report on the Antares squeak investigation and it was good and bad. I’m definitely glad I sent it away because there were two broken rivets, but I could have done without the extra expense of getting it fixed! Excited to get the saddle back and have a squeak free ride!
Lots of grazing going on these days…
Phoenix started back on a gradual return to work this week. We’ve been doing bareback rides of at least 20 minutes of walk then a couple long sides of trot. So far so good with the hock bump. It’s still hanging around but hasn’t gotten bigger.
On the Stampede front things have been going fairly well (knock on wood). I lunged him Monday then rode him Wednesday and today. He felt almost normal under saddle which is great.

We are up to 10 minutes of trot now, and he will get his third shot of my seven shot Ichon series tomorrow.

Hoping both boys can keep things on an upward trend. Maybe I can canter one of my own horses before this month is over, lol.

After all the good reviews I decided to take the plunge on an Equifit Shoulders Back. Today was my first ride in it so a review will be coming after I test it out a bit further.
