Horsehair Bracelet

So during all this craziness with Stampede last week I got a package in the mail. I was so excited to get my bracelet from SC Equine. Back in January, I won A Gift Horse’s contest for a free horsehair bracelet.

So I sent off some of Phoenix’s tail hair (I actually sent too much, sorry P!) and got back a beautiful bracelet.

It came in a thoughtful box.

And the best part!

Awesome bracelet!

Awesome bracelet!

The bracelet I picked is a square braid with two silver threads. I also upgraded the metal to sterling silver since I’m allergic to plated jewelry and added a tag. I’m in love with the result. Thank you Stephanie for giving me a way to wear a permanent piece of my special horse. I will be sending you some Stampede hair in the future!

Phoenix update since I didn’t mention him last post. He is still doing well, he’s been very energetic with our rides this past week. I pulled his mane yesterday so I will have to take a picture of his handsome face!

Lastly, don’t forget about Equestrian at Hart’s Higher Standards Leather Care Contest. I already have one kind of soap and the balm and I love it! Hoping to win another scent to try! One can never have too many tack cleaning products!

I was trying to get a picture to show how awesome the square braid is but my camera was not being cooperative. I love it!

Stephanie was great to work with. She also sends out a 10% off code after you buy one item.
