Customization

I’ve been busy getting all the things customized for Ernie so I had to share!

First up, a stall plate. For some reason the barn workers love to water the name plates while filling the buckets so I opted for a plastic plate this time. I love the navy with white.

At the away show I did I went to the local tack shop and they happened to have Ogilvy profile pads (usually tack shops only have baby pads) and I couldn’t resist this one. I just had to get Ernie’s show name on it. No regrets on this purchase!

During the strictest part of quarantine I made an order from the local tack shop for this halter and lead rope set I had been lusting over for months. Not knowing if Ernie would join the family eventually it was probably a bit of a crazy purchase but thankfully it all worked out! The halter and lead are from Pup & Pony Co. So much awesome leather with great details and at such reasonable prices! I got the havana leather with navy padding. Swoon.

Navy blue is my favorite
Gorgeous lead rope to match with an awesome leather stopper

The halter has the awesome fancy stitch details on the cheeks too, so I ended up hiding a plate under the crown and I love how it turned out. The lead rope is already soft after just one weekend of use and I love the leather stopper on the end.

Handsome pony modeling

So what else do I need to customize?

Nothing like shopping for a new horse! What fun! Do you have a customized grooming tote for him or maybe brushes with his name on them?

I already have brushes and a box personalized to me. Got it back when I had two horses boarded. I’m thinking of getting an engraved tag to put on his turnout halter and maybe tags for his blankets. Not as exciting as these purchases though, lol.

Thanks! I love personalizing things although I also then worry about making things unusable on other horses by doing that lol. Double edged sword. Easier right now with only one riding horse.

Thanks. Obviously I have a few colors I trend towards and navy is the main one!
